Power Dynamos’ pursuit of a first championship title since 2011 continues on Sunday when they take on bottom side Buildcon in what looks a certain away victory in the MTN Super League.

Dynamos hold a six-point advantage over second-placed Forest Rangers with nine rounds of the season to go, and this is the kind of fixture they will see as a vital three points.

That is because of Buildcon’s struggles this campaign, which has seen them lose 19 of their 25 games to date (W2 D4), with the worst defensive record in the league having shipped 53 goals, more than two per game.

Dynamos won the reverse fixture 4-0 earlier this season, though their only away league win over Buildcon came in 2018. Since then they have lost two and drawn two visits.

Also in action on a Super Sunday are Forest Rangers, who host fourth-placed FC MUZA, a very tough fixture for them.

Rangers have been a little patchy at home this season, while MUZA have the seventh best record among away teams (but the best at home). It could be a tight one.

Third-placed Green Buffaloes host struggling Lumwana Radiants on Saturday and will be hoping to put pressure on the leaders with a comfortable home win. They will go to within four points of Dynamos if they do, four 24 hours at least.

Defending champions Red Arrows are looking sharp again and while the league title may be beyond them, they are certainly in the hunt for CAF places.

They travel to Nchanga Rangers, whose recent poor form has seen them slip towards the relegation zone.

ZESCO United had also looked back in business in recent matches until their defeat at MUZA last weekend, and they will look to get back on track when they take on Kansanshi Dynamos, who are also hovering just above the relegation places.

Three wins in a row mean Nkana FC have moved clear of the drop-zone and they will look to add another when they host Prison Leopards. The latter have won three of the last five (D1 L1) meetings though.

In other matches on Saturday, Chambishi host Nkwazi, Kabwe Warriors welcome NAPSA Stars and Green Eagles travel to Zanaco.
