Milford break momentum, Durban City remain unbeaten

Milford FC were unable to maintain their 100 per cent winning start to the 2024/25 Motsepe Foundation Championship campaign this weekend, while Casric Stars moved up the log standings following their 1-0 victory against Black Leopards on Saturday.

The Urban Warriors were welcomed to the Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday afternoon and managed to earn a point in a 0-0 draw with Milford in their third league assignment of the season.

Despite the draw, Milford maintained their spot at the top of the table, while all of Baroka, Casric Stars and Orbit College bagged victories in the latest round of Motsepe Foundation Championship fixtures.

Baroka left the Suzuki Stadium with a 1-0 win against Hungry Lions, while Casric Stars and Orbit College recorded 1-0 away victories against Black Leopards and Highbury respectively.

Elsewhere, second-placed Durban City ended their weekend with a 1-1 draw alongside Venda Football Academy at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The club, formerly known as Maritzburg United, sustained their 100 per cent unbeaten start to the 24/25 campaign.
