Lidoda Duvha denied Vhadau Vha Damani top spot thanks to a 1-0 win in midweek which arrested a run of three successive defeats. Magesi (12th) picked up a valuable point in a 1-1 draw with AmaTuks on the same day to go four points clear of the relegation zone.
The eighth round concludes on Monday with Cape Town Spurs welcoming NB La Masia to the Athlone Stadium, while Polokwane City entertain fellow title hopefuls TTM at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
The Urban Warriors occupy 10th place after going unbeaten in their last three outings, having seen La Masia leapfrog them into ninth spot courtesy of their victory over Casric Stars.
Rise And Shine (4th) are tied with third-placed Vhadau Vha Damani on 13 points after edging Pretoria Callies 1-0 on Tuesday to register their fourth win of the season.
