The revised Motsepe Foundation Championship schedule sees just eight of the 16 teams in action this weekend as University of Pretoria look to haul in the league leaders.
AmaTuks (third) remain the only unbeaten club in the division but find themselves four points adrift of Polokwane City at the summit following four successive draws.
The Pretoria outfit welcome newcomers Casric Stars to the Tuks Stadium on Saturday determined to get their title challenge back on track after dropping another two points in a 2-2 stalemate with Hungry Lions in midweek.
Stars slipped to sixth in the standings with a 3-1 defeat to Rise And Shine on Wednesday, having won three of their previous four matches.
Platinum City Rovers will be looking to put more distance between themselves and the relegation zone when Magesi visit the BidVest Stadium in the other fixture taking place on Saturday.
Rovers picked up only their second win of the season when they edged Uthongathi 1-0 on Tuesday to pull two points clear of the bottom two in 13th place. Dikwena tsa Meetse (ninth) halted a four-game winless run with a 2-1 triumph over Lions last time out.
Meanwhile, Hungry Lions will target a return to winning ways when they host TTM at Windhoek Draught Park on Sunday.
Lions (second) relinquished top spot after being beaten by Magesi and then drawing 1-1 with Polokwane most recently. Vhadau Vha Damani (seventh) lost more ground in the title race with a 2-1 reverse to Polokwane last week, having also been beaten by Black Leopards prior to that.
Leopards will be seeking their first win in three games when JDR Stars arrive at the Malamulele Stadium.
Lidoda Duvha (14th) are unbeaten in their last three encounters, with a 3-3 draw against AmaTuks last Friday taking them out of the drop zone. The Hammer Boys picked up their second win in three outings when they beat Venda Football Academy 2-0 on Wednesday to move up to fifth position.
