Ajax Cape Town will face TS Sporting in the 2019/20 Nedbank Cup Last 32 match at the Athlone Stadium on Thursday.
Kick-off is at 7:30 pm CAT.
The Urban Warriors secured their place in this stage after defeating fellow GladAfrica Championship side Richard's Bay 2-1 in the preliminary round.
They are hoping to go all the way and clinch the trophy for the second time having won it in 2007 when it was still known as the Absa Cup.
Isaac Nhlapo, the Ajax captain and defender, has made it clear that the Championship log leaders are very ambitious ahead of their cup clash with Sporting.
”People are strange, they think Ajax will just give up the title race? They think my Ajax, will just give up?," Nhlapo said.
"Then they don't know my team. This title is not for owners or coaches this title is for all of us. We will fight all the way to the end."
Meanwhile, Sporting booked their spot in the Last 32 after overcoming their GladAfrica Championship rivals Free State Stars 2-1 in the preliminary round.
Abantu Bemthetho are making their second appearance in the Nedbank Cup having made their debut last season when they were eliminated in the preliminary round.
Mandla Mathaba, the Sporting coach, is confident of masterminding a win over Ajax having defeated the Urban Warriors 1-0 in a league game last month.
"The game is going be a difficult one as we just recently beat them in their backyard," Mathaba said.
"As we all know there is a saying which says lightening does not strike twice in one place. We are determined as a team to prove this saying is unscientific hence null and void."
