Mamelodi Sundowns have moved back to the top of the Betway Premiership following a 2-0 win over Orbit College at Olympia Park in Rustenburg on Tuesday evening.
The Brazilians secured a seventh successive league victory and took first place on the log, thanks to goals from Miguel Reisinho and Iqraam Rayners.
They are three points clear of Orlando Pirates, who could reclaim pole position on Wednesday when they host Richards Bay in Soweto.

As for the Mswenko Boys, they remained in the relegation playoff position (15th) after suffering a 13th defeat from 21 matches.
Sundowns came out of the blocks strongly and nearly claimed the lead inside the opening 20 seconds, with a dangerous ball into the Orbit penalty area causing all kinds of consternation, before Iqraam Rayners hit a low shot just wide of the target.
The Brazilians had a further chance for Arthur Sales – which he headed over from relatively close range in the fifth minute – and Rayners also found the back of the net in the ninth minute, but saw his effort ruled out for offside.
Orbit weathered the early storm and began offering some threatening moments of their own, most notably in the 27th minute when Realeboga Potsana stole the ball off Sales and attempted an audacious long-range strike, but his effort drifted just over the crossbar.
Sundowns reasserted control late in the first half and had further opportunities to break the deadlock, with Sales sending a well-struck drive just over in the 37th minute, while Rayners missed out on a free header from a Khuliso Mudau cross on the cusp of the interval.
After a frustrating first half, the Brazilians needed less than three minutes after the break to claim the lead: Sales played a cross to the far post to find Nuno Santos, who set up Miguel Reisinho with a cushioned header – the Portuguese No 7 swept the ball home at close range to see the visitors 1-0 up and register his first Betway Premiership goal.

Just under 10 minutes later Sundowns were awarded a penalty when Ramahlwe Mphahlele caught Mudau in trying to make a clearance.
Rayners emphatically struck home from 12 yards to rack up his 10th league goal of the season and put the champions 2-0 up on the hour mark.
That wrapped up the scoring, with Sundowns able to see out the remainder of the game in comfort and secure their 14th win from 20 league matches.
