LaLiga EA Sports has concluded the 2025/26 season by reaching a new all-time attendance record in the stadiums of Spain’s top football division, consolidating the extraordinary momentum currently enjoyed by the competition and the strong bond between football and its fans.
During the recently concluded season, a total of 11 693 679 spectators attended LaLiga EA Sports stadiums, surpassing the previous all-time record and confirming the upward trend experienced by the competition in recent years.
This figure represents a 4.2 per cent increase compared to the 2024/25 season.
In addition, a new all-time record was set by reaching an 84.9 per cent stadium occupancy rate.
Likewise, the highest average attendance since the 2014/15 season was recorded, with 31 018 spectators, reflecting the growing interest and loyalty of fans towards the competition.
These figures are even more significant considering that several stadiums have been operating with capacity restrictions resulting from renovation and improvement works, such as Spotify Camp Nou (FC Barcelona), Coliseum (Getafe CF) and ABANCA BalaÃdos (RC Celta).
Indeed, this all-time record also highlights the significant effort being made by LaLiga EA Sports clubs to continue driving the transformation and modernisation of their infrastructures, with the aim of offering a better experience for fans and adapting stadiums to their evolving demands.
The positive evolution of attendance and occupancy figures confirms that Spanish professional football continues to enjoy excellent health and a tremendous capacity to attract audiences, both inside and outside stadiums.
Pending the final attendance figures for LaLiga HYPERMOTION, LaLiga views this new milestone very positively, as it reflects the joint commitment of clubs and fans to continue promoting Spanish football and consolidating an increasingly attractive and closer experience for all supporters.
