PUMA and Manchester City reveal the club's 26/27 Away kit which makes its on-pitch debut on 1 August vs. Inter Milan.
Bold black and yellow, finished with a swarm of worker bees, this kit is built around one of the most recognisable symbols in the city – the Manchester bee.
The bee has been on the streets of Manchester long before it was on a football shirt. A symbol of the graft, unity, and resilience that define the city. The 26/27 Away kit puts it front and centre, with a design that channels the noise of the away end and the identity of the streets back home. Doesn't matter if you were born in Manchester or just buzzin' to be here; the bee says you're one of us.
Councillor Shazia Butt of the Manchester City Council said, "The worker bee is one of Manchester's most enduring and recognisable symbols and represents the values that have shaped our city for generations: hard work, resilience, community, and pride.
"We've worked closely with the Manchester City Football Club and PUMA to ensure its use on the 26/27 Away Kit is both authentic and respectful of its significance. Seeing the bee showcased to a global audience through one of Manchester's most recognised institutions is a fitting celebration of our city, our people and the spirit that continues to define Manchester today."
Available from 31 July at PUMA.com, PUMA Retail stores, Totalsports, Studio 88, Sportsmans Warehouse and Takealot, with the on-pitch debut on 1 August v Inter Milan.
