AmaZulu FC will be out to avenge their first-round defeat to Sekhukhune United in the DStv Premiership when they meet at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.
Kick-off is at 5pm CAT (SA, GMT+2).
Usuthu extended their unbeaten run to four matches in the league when they claimed a 1-0 victory over Swallows FC away on Tuesday and it was also their third win in their last four games.
The KwaZulu-Natal giants find themselves in the seventh spot on the DStv Premiership standings - three points behind fourth-placed Kaizer Chiefs with three matches left in the current campaign.
Brandon Truter, the AmaZulu coach, is hoping to ensure that the team finishes the season unbeaten under his guidance having taken charge of the club two months ago - replacing Benni McCarthy.
"Look it is one game at a time for us, we have Sekhukhune now at the weekend. We are looking forward to the game," Truter said.
"But for now it is about going back to Durban and recovering. For us, it is now four league games, three wins and a draw, no goals conceded so that augurs well.
"It [current form] shows my acumen and the quality of the players. I am just happy for turning it around and getting the results that matter," he added.
"We still have two games after Sekhukhune. We are hoping to wrap it [the season] up unbeaten and hopefully keep that goal against at zero."
Meanwhile, Sekhukhune's woes in the DStv Premiership continued as they extended their winless run to eight matches when they succumbed to a 1-0 loss to champions Mamelodi Sundowns at home on Tuesday.
Babina Noko are currently placed 10th on the league standings - five points behind eighth-placed SuperSport United and a win over AmaZulu will boost Sekhukhune's hopes of finishing in the top half this season.
Owen Da Gama, the Sekhukhune co-coach, praised his charges following their defeat to Sundowns and he has since turned his attention to their clash with AmaZulu.
"I am very proud of the boys, they really applied themselves well. From a tactical perspective, I am very proud of the players, very very proud," Da Gama said.
"Look three more games, we are going back to the drawing board. We have a game on Saturday against AmaZulu. So, we will be doing a lot of recovery tomorrow.
"Then we start planning, I have a better idea as to what is happening. It is the second game [since I arrived at Sekhukhune]," he added.
"So, as co-coaches, we have to put our heads together and do what is best for the team."
PLAYERS TO WATCH
AmaZulu
Sphesihle Maduna: The exciting attacking midfielder was the hero against Swallows as he netted AmaZulu's winning goal having been a constant threat to the Soweto giants' defence and he will be hoping to replicate the same form against Sekhukhune.
Andre De Jong: The New Zealand international also caught the eye against Swallows after coming on as a substitute and he provided the assist for Maduna's winning goal. De Jong will be hoping to start this weekend and inspire his side to another victory.
Sekhukhune United
Yusuf Maart: The Sekhukhune captain is the heartbeat of the team's midfield with his ability to create goals and play accurate forward passes. Maart will be looking to play an instrumental role in helping his side snap their winless run in Durban.
Chibuike Ohizu: The former Jomo Cosmos striker has impressed in his debut season in the South African top-flight having netted seven goals. Ohizu scored in the first round league clash as Sekhukhune secured a 2-0 victory over AmaZulu last October.
