Stellenbosch FC marked their exit from the CAF Confederation Cup this weekend following a morale deflating 3-0 loss against Otoho d’Oyo in Group C at Stade Alphonse Massemba-Débat on Sunday afternoon.
Otoho started the game on the front foot as seen by attempts at goal from Japhet Mankou in the fourth and sixth minute, however, the Otoho attacker saw his shots missing the target.

The Congolese side continued to see more of the ball at the midway point of the first-half, while Stellenbosch battled to get into the game.
With Stellies under the cosh, Otoho took the lead through Pomi Nzaou in the 38th minute. After making their way through the Stellenbosch backline, Nzaou then managed to drive the ball home into the bottom left corner from close range.
Otoho doubled their advantage moments before the break as Klegnime Koné added his name to the scoresheet at a crucial time.
Assisted by Japhet Mankou, Kone found himself in the right position to cap home a left-footed shot from the middle of the box following a swift passing move into the opposition area.
