The emphatic win saw Maniema finish second in group B behind Wydad AC, who wrapped up their successful group stage campaign with a comfortable 2-0 win over Azam at the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca.
In Algiers, leaders CR Belouizdad wrapped up their group C campaign with a 2-1 win over AS Otoho and the two teams met at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, having already booked their places in the knockout phase.
A Group C encounter between Stellenbosch FC and Singida Black Stars ended in a 0-0 draw at the DHL Cape Town Stadium, where Asekho Tiwani was sent off. However, Stars couldn't take advantage of their numerical superiority.
At the Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako, Djoliba thumped San Pedro 4-0 in a group A dead-rubber and the two teams finished third and fourth, respectively.
Both Champions League and Confederation Cup knockout stages involve the eight teams qualifying as winners and runners-up of each of the eight groups in the group stage.
