Durban City will be hosting the home leg of their African Confederation Cup first round tie against Burundian club Rukinzo at Moses Mabhida Stadium, which is the only venue in KwaZulu-Natal which has been passed for international competition by the Confederation of African Football.
The exact date for the match has yet to be decided but it will be on the weekend of 4-6 September.
City, who are making their debut in continental competition, are at home in the first leg before going to Bujumbura the week thereafter for the return game.
The Moses Mabhida Stadium is due to reopen after renovations, and a fix of the pitch, on Wednesday when Richards Bay host Kaizer Chiefs there in the Betway Premiership
The Confederation of African Football has cracked down over the last five years on venues which are not up to standard, but South Africa has several venues which have passed and the country often hosts matches for teams from other countries who do not have adequate facilities.
