The UEFA Champions League action comes thick and fast as Matchday 3 of the league phase gets underway on Tuesday night live on SuperSport TV and DStv Streaming.
European heavyweights including Liverpool, Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona are all in action, while several clubs look to strengthen their positions in the race for the knockout rounds.
From milestone appearances and prolific goalscorers to impressive unbeaten runs and potential upsets, here is a closer look at what to expect from each fixture.
All matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport.
FENERBAHÇE VS SLAVIA PRAHA (18:45)
An intriguing early kick-off sees Turkish giants Fenerbahçe host Czech contenders Slavia Praha. With both sides eager to build momentum in the league phase, this fixture could prove crucial in shaping their qualification ambitions.
SABAH VS BORUSSIA DORTMUND (18:45)
Champions League newcomers Sabah will be looking to continue their impressive home form when they welcome Borussia Dortmund. The Azerbaijani side have won all five of their European home matches this season, scoring 14 goals and conceding just twice.
Dortmund, however, arrive with a perfect record against Azerbaijani opposition, having won all four previous encounters against clubs from the country. The German side will also be hoping to end a worrying run of four consecutive away defeats in the Champions League. With neither Sabah's 24 UEFA matches nor Dortmund's last 57 Champions League away games ending goalless, goals should be expected.
ROMA VS SLOVAN BRATISLAVA
Roma return to the Stadio Olimpico confident of extending their strong home record in Europe. The Italians have won eight of their last 11 Champions League home fixtures and have never lost a match in the competition after leading at halftime.
There is added intrigue given Slovan Bratislava's famous Europa League play-off triumph over Roma in 2011. However, history favours the hosts this time around, with Slovan having lost all 10 of their Champions League matches to date and conceding a first-half goal in every one of them.
PORTO VS PSV EINDHOVEN
Porto and PSV Eindhoven meet in a fixture featuring two clubs with rich European traditions.
The Portuguese side will take confidence from an unbeaten home record against Dutch opponents in UEFA competitions, having won seven and drawn one of their eight matches. PSV, meanwhile, have struggled in both Portugal and the Champions League in recent years, winning just two of their last 12 matches in the competition and going 18 games without keeping a clean sheet.
Former PSV midfielder Pablo Rosario and Porto striker Santiago Giménez, who has scored four goals against the Dutch club during his career, could both have key roles to play.
LIVERPOOL VS VILLARREAL
Liverpool will be strong favourites when they host Villarreal at Anfield.
The Reds have won 15 of their last 16 Champions League home games in the league phase and have also enjoyed recent success against Spanish opposition. Arne Slot's side will also draw confidence from their 5-2 aggregate victory over Villarreal in the 2021/22 semifinals.
Villarreal arrive buoyed by an important win over Napoli on Matchday 2 that ended a 12-match winless run in the competition. However, they face a difficult challenge against a Liverpool side that has won its last five UEFA matches against Spanish clubs.
MANCHESTER CITY VS AEK ATHENS
Manchester City will expect nothing less than three points against AEK Athens at the Etihad Stadium.
Pep Guardiola's side remain unbeaten against Greek opposition in European competition and have yet to concede a goal against a club from the country. Much of the spotlight will once again be on Erling Haaland, who has scored an astonishing 61 goals in only 60 Champions League appearances and recently became City's all-time leading scorer in the competition.
AEK face an uphill battle having never won an away match in the Champions League proper.
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN VS BARCELONA
The standout fixture of the evening takes place in Paris as PSG host Barcelona.
There are storylines everywhere. Ferran Torres faces his former club just months after leaving Barcelona, while Ousmane Dembélé comes up against the side where he spent six seasons before moving to Paris. On the touchline, PSG coach Luis Enrique meets the club he guided to a historic treble in 2015.
PSG enter the match unbeaten in their last 12 Champions League outings, while Barcelona's attack has been inspired by teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who has already contributed five goals in two league-phase matches this season. The Spanish giants' defensive record remains a concern, however, with Barcelona failing to keep a clean sheet in their last 17 Champions League games.
NAPOLI VS BODØ/GLIMT
Napoli head into Matchday 3 seeking a much-needed response after enduring their longest winless run in Champions League history.
A victory would also mark the Italian club's 100th win in UEFA competition. However, Bodø/Glimt have already shown they are capable of upsetting more established European opposition, having eliminated Inter Milan from Europe last season.
Napoli's experience should make them favourites, but the Norwegian champions have developed a reputation for springing surprises on the continental stage.
STUTTGART VS ATLÉTICO DE MADRID
The final fixture of the night could be one of the most evenly balanced as Stuttgart take on Atlético de Madrid in Germany.
While Stuttgart have enjoyed recent success against Spanish opposition in Europe, they are still searching for a first Champions League victory over a Spanish club. Atlético's away record in Germany is far from convincing, with just one league-phase win on German soil dating back to 1996.
Veteran midfielder Koke could move into eighth place on the all-time list of Spanish Champions League appearance-makers, while Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman will celebrate his 29th birthday and will be hoping to mark the occasion with another goal against Stuttgart after scoring against them for Atalanta in 2024.
