“I am pleased to be here and look forward to meeting the rest of the team,” Mokobodi said in a statement. “It’s a big opportunity to play for such a club, and I am ready to get going. I would like to make a meaningful contribution to this great institution.”
The transfer of defensive midfielder Mokobodi had been mooted for some time.
He began his career with then-second-tier Marumo Gallants in the 2023/24 campaign before moving to Stellenbosch for last season.
There, he made 28 appearances, including 13 starts, and six in the CAF Confederation Cup.
In all, he has made 73 career appearances, with both of his goals coming for Gallants in the Motsepe Foundation Championship in separate games against Black Leopards.
