Durban City on Friday confirmed the arrival of Gaston Sirino and also announced several other acquisitions, including Magesi fullback John Mokone.
City released a statement on Friday naming eight new signings, although Seth Green from Orlando Pirates had already previously been known.
Sirino’s move to City had been anticipated for several weeks since it was clear he was leaving Kaizer Chiefs.
The other new signings include the Casric Stars duo of 22-year-old defender Kabelo Mofokeng and winger Lifa Makua.

Siya Msomi, formerly with Lamontville Golden Arrows DStv Diski Challenge side, and Tylo Sanger, who played centre back at Cape Town Spurs, have also been added to the squad.
Kimberley-born Junior Papier, who has come through trials at the club, also joins. He was the Northern Cape ABC Motsepe League Best Young Player award winner for last season’s performances at amateur outfit Gaza United.
City had previously also announced the signing of Tashreeq Morris, who Chiefs also let go, as well as Orlando Pirates discard Bandile Shandu.
They will be competing in the African Confederation Cup this season after winning the Nedbank Cup in May.
