Cape Town Spurs were one of the biggest winners during the latest round of DStv Premiership fixtures, following their 2-0 victory against TS Galaxy on Sunday afternoon.
The Urban Warriors made it two wins on the trot in the league this weekend, as goals by Ashley Cupido and Katlego Maphathe were enough for Ernst Middendorp’s side at the Athlone Stadium.

Over in Soweto, Kaizer Chiefs recorded a 0-0 draw with Moroka Swallows at the FNB Stadium on Saturday as the Glamour Boys jotted down their third stalemate in succession.
With Chiefs sitting in sixth position, Orlando Pirates moved into fourth on the log following their 1-0 win against Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

In what was a dominant display by Jose Riveiro’s side on the road, Evidence Makgopa’s 68th minute strike separated the two sides in Polokwane.
Elsewhere, Stellenbosch and Chippa United could not be separated in their respective clash on Friday evening following their 1-1 draw at the Danie Craven Stadium.
