Former Tanzania's Simba SC mentor Didier Gomes Da Rosa has taken over Sierra Leone national team head coach post.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) announced the appointment of the 56-year-old via a statement issued on Friday.
"Sierra Leone Football Association is delighted to announce the appointment of Didier Gomes Da Rosa as the new Head Coach of Leone Stars," reads the statement.
"With a wealth of international experience, multiple league and cup titles, and a proven track record across Africa and Asia, coach Didier arrives with the vision, expertise and ambition to lead Sierra Leone football to greater heights."

The UEFA Pro Licence-holder is no stranger to African football having managed teams in Cameroon,Tanzania, Rwanda, Botswana, Egypt, Sudan and Mauritania.
The Frenchman has taken charge of clubs such as Horoya AC in Guinea, Al Merrikh ( Sudan), Ismaily SC (Egypt), Coton Sport (Cameroon) and Rayon Sport (Rwanda).
Now Da Rosa will be tasked with overseeing Leone Stars' 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) group-stage qualifying campaign.
TAKING OVER FROM KEISTER
Leone Stars will host Liberia on Saturday, June 6 at the Southern Arena in Bo City before facing the same opponents in Monrovia on 9 June at the SKD Stadium.
Sierra Leone are preparing for the 2027 AFCON Group E qualifying matches against the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea. The matches will kick off in September.
