Mamelodi Sundowns will play the first leg of their African Champions League semifinal away in Tunis on Sunday, April 12, with a 19h00 local time kick-off, the Confederation of African Football said.
The return leg will be played at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria six days later on Saturday, April 18. The kick-off will be at 15h00 local time.
The other semifinal tie between Moroccan clubs Renaissance Berkane and Royal Armed Forces is to be played on Saturday, April 11, at 19h00 local time in Rabat, with the return in Berkane on Saturday, April 18, also with a 19h00 local time kick-off.
Sundowns are attempting to reach the final for a second successive year after losing to Pyramids of Egypt over two legs in last year’s decider.
This is the third year in a row that Sundowns and Esperance face off in the knockout stages. In 2024, Esperance beat Sundowns home and away in the semifinal, but last season it was the South African champions who won 1-0 on aggregate in the quarterfinal.
