The Hollywoodbets Dolphins thrashed the North West Dragons just after lunch on day three of their Division One CSA 4-Day match in Durban, while the Dafabet Warriors and DP World Lions took charge of their games against the Momentum Multiply Titans and Gbets Rocks respectively.
DOLPHINS THRASH DRAGONS IN UNDER THREE DAYS
The Hollywoodbets Dolphins sealed a thumping innings and 71-run win over the North West Dragons just after lunch on day three of their Division One CSA 4-Day clash at Hollywoodbets Kingsmead on Tuesday afternoon.
After reaching lunch in a shambles on 53 for five in their second innings, the Dragons were unable to stop the Dolphins' spin department, who took all 20 wickets in the match, as they tumbled to 104 all out.
In the second innings, Jon Jon Smuts picked up 5-54 to end with match figures of 9-106. Prenelan Subrayen picked up 3-22 for match figures of 8-89, and Odirile Modimokoane claimed 2-12, with match figures of 3-23.
Straight after lunch, Wesley Marshall (14) was the first to fall, caught by Marques Ackerman off the bowling of Smuts with them on 55 for six.
Khanya Cotani (14) and Juan James (12) then added 22 for the seventh wicket, before Smuts bowled James and then had Cotani caught by Khaya Zondo with the Dolphins 95 for eight.
Eldred Hawken (1) and Renaldo Mayer, for a second ball duck, were then cleaned up by Subrayen, leaving Duan Jansen (18no) unbeaten at the end.
In the morning, the Dragons resumed their first innings on 166 for nine, and were soon all out for 173, a deficit of 175 on the Dolphins' first innings score of 348 all out, which allowed the home side to enforce the follow-on.
It was then carnage as the Dolphins spinners continued to rip through the Dragons' top order, leaving them in a shambles at the lunch break.
The Dragons' second innings got off to a disastrous start as Subrayen trapped opener Grant Mokoena (14) lbw, while Smuts bowled both opener Lesego Senokwane (5) and No 3 Shaylin Pillay (13), leaving them on 41 for three.
Modimokoane then had Christopher Britz (9) caught by Ackerman, and trapped JP King lbw for a seven-ball duck, leaving them in huge strife at lunch.

WARRIORS TAKE CHARGE AGAINST TITANS AT CLOSE ON DAY THREE
The Dafabet Warriors took charge of their weather-disrupted Division One CSA 4-Day clash against the Momentum Multiply Titans, as they reduced the hosts to 133 for seven at the close of play on day three at St George’s Park on Tuesday.
After declaring just before lunch on 281 for eight, the Warriors had the Titans on 73 for four at tea, and then took a further three wickets before bad light brought an early end to the day.
A result is, however, looking increasingly unlikely as the Warriors would need to nip out the last three wickets for almost nothing in the final day’s morning session and enforce the follow-on if they are to have any chance of getting the win.
If the Warriors have to bat again, it is highly unlikely that there will be a result.
Resuming after tea, Jiveshan Pillay (45) and Musa Twala (21) extended their fifth-wicket partnership to 45 runs, and just when it looked like they might get through the final session, Pillay was trapped lbw by Siya Plaatjie with the score at 105 for five.
Twala followed soon after, caught behind by keeper Sinethemba Qeshile off the bowling of Glenton Stuurman, and Corbin Bosch (2) was run out, as the Titans slipped to 131 for seven.
Donovan Ferreira (22no) and Junior Dala (1no) will now pick up on day four's morning session, trying to bat their side to safety.
In the post-lunch session, the Warriors made further inroads into the Titans' batting lineup, after the visitors resumed on three for one.
Stuurman made early strikes, having opener Neil Brand (4) caught behind by Qeshile, and Sibonelo Makhanya (3) caught by Beyers Swanepoel as they slipped to 16 for three.
Pillay then found a willing partner in Dewald Brevis (33) and they tried to revive the innings with a 44-run fourth-wicket stand.
But Ziyaad Abrahams made the breakthrough, having Brevis caught by Wihan Lubbe, with the Titans on 60 for four, before Twala and Pillay took them to tea.
In the morning session, the Warriors made quick runs after resuming their first innings on 150 for three.
Matthew Breetzke (68) fell early, having added just one run to his overnight score, caught by Modiri Litheko off the bowling of Ferreira, leaving them on 160 for four.
Qeshile (66) and Tristan Stubbs (22) then combined for a 55-run fifth-wicket stand, before a flurry of wickets saw three fall for 18 runs, as Dala had Qeshile caught, and then Brand accounted for Rudi Second (18) and Stubbs as the Warriors slipped to 233 for seven.
Swanepoel then took centre stage for the Warriors as he plundered an unbeaten 52 off 48 balls (3x4; 4x6), dominating two partnerships of 32 with Stuurman (2) and an unbeaten 16 with Plaatjie, to give the Warriors a boost going into the Titans innings.
With just four overs possible before the break, the Warriors then made an early breakthrough as Stuurman had Litheko caught by Diego Rosier for an eight-ball duck, leaving Brand and Pillay to resume in the afternoon.
DAFABET WARRIORS: Lesiba Ngoepe, Wihan Lubbe, Diego Rosier, Matthew Breetzke, Rudi Second, Tristan Stubbs, Sinethemba Qeshile, Beyers Swanepoel, Glenton Stuurman, Ziyaad Abrahams, Siya Plaatjie

LIONS ON TOP AS ROCKS STRUGGLE AND HOPE FOR MORE POOR WEATHER
The Gbets Rocks will be hoping for more poor weather on the final day of their Division One CSA 4-Day match against the DP World Lions at Boland Park, after the visitors reduced them to 92 for nine in their first innings at the close of play on day three.
The Lions were bowled all out for 421 in the morning session and had the tough task of bowling the Rocks out twice in under two days to secure the win, but despite a rain delay and bad light ending play early, they gave themselves a great shot with a top bowling performance.
Bjorn Fortuin, 3-47, Sisanda Magala, 2-11, and Malusi Siboto, 2-12, are the key wicket takers so far, while opening batter Stiaan van Zyl was a man alone for the Rocks, ending the day unbeaten on 58 after watching wickets tumble around him.
The only other batter to reach double figures for the hosts was Michael Copeland, who scored 17 in a 45-run fourth wicket stand with Van Zyl.
Earlier in the day, rain returned in the post-lunch session to stop the Lions' roll, with the Rocks in early trouble on 30 for three, with the teams taking an early tea.
The Lions were bowled out shortly before lunch, with the Rocks reaching the break on four without loss.
Pieter Malan (1) was the first wicket to fall after lunch, caught by Connor Esterhuizen off the bowling of Magala, and was followed shortly by Clyde Fortuin, bowled by Magala, and Janneman Malan, lbw to Fortuin, both for ducks, as they crashed to eight for three.
Van Zyl and Copeland were then attempting to rebuild the innings when the rain returned to wash out the rest of the session.
In the morning, the Lions resumed their first innings on 315 for five, with Mitchell van Buuren (92) and Fortuin (30) extending their sixth-wicket partnership to 57 runs.
Imraan Manack then stepped in to make a crucial double breakthrough, as he bowled Van Buuren just eight runs shy of a century, and had Fortuin caught by Copeland as the Lions slipped to 363 for seven.
Magala (31) and Malusi Siboto (29) then combined for a valuable 57-run eighth-wicket stand, before Shaun von Berg had Siboto caught by Khwezi Gumede.
This saw the final three wickets fall for just one run, as Manack had Magala caught by Hlomla Hanabe and Lutho Sipamla fell for a six-ball duck, caught off the bowling of Von Berg.
Von Berg, 5-115, and Manack, 3-84, were the pick of the Rocks bowlers over the Lions' innings.
GBETS ROCKS: Pieter Malan, Stiaan van Zyl, Clyde Fortuin, Janneman Malan, Michael Copeland, Shaun von Berg, Hlomla Hanabe, Hardus Viljoen, Imraan Manack, Bamanye Xenxe, Khwezi Gumede
