Bra Hlompho steals the show at Philly’s games

The 15-year-old player, Hlompho Radebe, made his debut for Amandla FC at a packed Ivory Park Stadium in Tembisa on Tuesday when he came on as a substitute in the 80th minute.
Amandla were already on the back foot, trying to find an equaliser against Phanda Phanda. Bra Hlompho, as he is popularly known, came in wearing jersey number 2, a jersey number that isn’t popular. One would have to Google which great soccer player wore it.
The grade 9 pupil from Poelano secondary school joined Amandla in 2020. The talented midfielder spoke to supersport.com in an exclusive.
“When they were calling my name, they got me excited. I felt motivated, that’s why I wanted to even up my game.
“I’m used to playing against and with guys older than me. One thing is for sure, I never get scared or intimidated by their size. I don’t have many words but will do the talking on the field,” he said.
Bra Hlompho was trending on social media after the game on Tuesday afternoon, as fans at home got to see his talent.
The fixtures of the day were trending once again as thousands took to Twitter to marvel the talent on display.
