Isithembiso and Destroyers book semifinal date

Isithembiso ran riot against Limpopo side Makgaola FC as they recorded a 4-1 victory (5-1 on aggregrate) in the quarterfinals of the Philly's Games at the Phomolong Sport Ground in Thembisa on Thursday.

Boko Futhi, meanwhile, bowed out of the tournament in the last eight after playing to a goalless draw with Destroyers FC. Destroyers go through to the semifinals on a 1-0 aggregate win after 180 minutes of football and will next take on Isithembiso in a must-win clash.

In final game of the day, Rebels beat Ama BEE 1-0. After two legs, the aggregate score was 1-1, but Ama BEE went on to beat the 2015 champions 4-1 on penalties to progress to the semifinals.

Friday's fixtures will include Thursday's opening game that was postponed due to bad weather.

Ambassadors take on One Lion at 10am in the second leg of their quarterfinal after which the 1st semifinal between Destroyers and Isithembiso kicks off at noon.

Both games will be broadcast live on SuperSport channel 202.
