Crystal Palace v Manchester City

Crystal Palace came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Manchester City in the reverse fixture in December. Only in 1992-93, 1994-95, and 2021-22 have they avoided defeat in both Premier League meetings with the Citizens in a season.

Man City are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League away games against Crystal Palace (W6 D2), since a 2-1 loss in April 2015. They’ve kept six clean sheets and conceded just two goals in that run.

Crystal Palace have failed to score in any of their last four Premier League home games against Man City, with Luka Milivojevic in April 2019 the last Eagles player to score against them at Selhurst Park.

Man City have kept just one clean sheet in their last nine Premier League away games against London sides (W5 D1 L3), though that was at Crystal Palace in March last year (1-0). They had kept a clean sheet in eight of their previous 11 visits to the capital before this.

Having won just one of their first nine Premier League home games this season (D3 L5), Crystal Palace have now won three of their last five at Selhurst Park (D1 L1). They’ve scored exactly three goals in all four of their home league wins this season.

After a run of just one win in five Premier League away games between September and December (D2 L2), Man City have since won five of their last six on the road (D1). They’ve come from behind to win in four of those five victories.

Crystal Palace managed just three shots and an xG of 0.19 against Bournemouth last time out, both lows for the Eagles in a Premier League match this season. Indeed, two of the three games they've had four or fewer shots this season have come under Oliver Glasner (also four v Spurs last month).

Eberechi Eze has netted five goals in eight home games for Crystal Palace in the Premier League this season; the last Englishman to score more at home in a top-flight campaign for the Eagles was Andrew Johnson in 2004-05 (11).

Phil Foden has scored five goals in his last five Premier League away games for Man City. He has six in total on the road this season, only netting more in a single campaign in 2020-21 (7).

Erling Haaland has been involved in seven goals in his last six away appearances for Man City in the Premier League, scoring four and assisting three. However, he’s not scored in any of his last four such games, his longest run without a goal on the road in the competition.

Aston Villa v Brentford

Aston Villa have won two of their last three league games against Brentford (D1), having been winless in eight against the Bees before this (D4 L4).

Brentford have never won away against Aston Villa in the league, drawing five and losing three of their eight visits to Villa Park.

The team scoring first has won just one of the five Premier League meetings between Aston Villa and Brentford (D2 L2), with the Villans winning 4-0 in this exact fixture last season under Aaron Danks.

Aston Villa have won all four of their Premier League games on Saturday at 3pm this season, with these matches producing an average of 4.5 goals per game (18 in total – F12 A6).

Brentford have lost nine of their last 10 away games in the Premier League, though the exception was a victory in the Midlands in February (2-0 v Wolves).

Brentford have lost 11 of their last 12 Premier League matches against sides starting the day in the top five of the table, including all eight such matches this season. Their sole victory in this run was against Manchester City on the final day last season, who had already been crowned champions.

Since their 15-game home winning run in the Premier League between March and December 2023, Aston Villa have won three of their seven league games at Villa Park (D1 L3), although they did win 2-0 against Wolves last time out and ended a run of six games without a clean sheet on home soil.

Aston Villa have scored 37 goals at Villa Park in the Premier League this season, their most on home soil in a single season in the competition. They last scored more than 37 in a top-flight campaign in the 1982-83 season (47).

No player has been directly involved in more goals at Villa Park for Aston Villa in all competitions this season than Douglas Luiz (9 goals, 6 assists) – before this season, his best campaign for goals and assists at Villa Park was last season (3 goals, 2 assists).

Bryan Mbeumo has scored (4) and been involved in (5) more away goals in the Premier League this season than any other Brentford player, despite playing in just eight of their games on the road so far this term.

Everton v Burnley

Everton are looking to complete their first league double over Burnley since 2018-19, having won 2-0 at Turf Moor in the reverse fixture.

Burnley have lost six of their eight Premier League away games against Everton, winning the others in October 2017 (1-0) and March 2021 (2-1).

This is the third meeting between Everton and Burnley in all competitions this season, with the Toffees winning 3-0 in the EFL Cup and 2-0 in the Premier League so far. The last time they beat a team three times in the same season while keeping a clean sheet each time was in 1995-96 against Blackburn.

Everton have lost nine of their last 14 Premier League home games against promoted sides (W3 D2), as many defeats as they’d suffered in their previous 64 such games (W46 D9).

Since the start of last season, all nine of Everton’s Premier League home wins have been to nil. They’ve drawn five and lost 17 of their last 22 at Goodison Park when conceding at least once, since a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace in May 2022.

Burnley have conceded 30 away Premier League goals this season, their most in a season since 2018-19, when they conceded 36 under Sean Dyche. The Clarets have shipped two or more goals in their last six on the road, last having a longer such run in the competition in their first 11 away games in 2009-10.

Everton won seven of their first eight home Premier League games under Sean Dyche when they scored the first goal (D1), only conceding one goal in those eight games. However, they have lost their last two when scoring first, losing both games 3-1 to Manchester City and West Ham.

Amadou Onana has scored in both of Everton’s games against Burnley in all competitions. The last Toffees player to score in three separate games against an opponent in a single season was Romelu Lukaku against Leicester in 2016-17.

Having beaten his former club Burnley earlier this season in the Premier League, Everton manager Sean Dyche could be the second Toffees manager to complete a double over a former club in a Premier League season, along with Sam Allardyce in 2017-18 against Newcastle United.

Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin ended an 18-game goalless run in the Premier League with his goal against Newcastle. He last netted in consecutive games in September this season, while he has three in his last five against Burnley.

Newcastle have won their last four Premier League games against Fulham – only against Tottenham (6), Burnley, Nottingham Forest and Sunderland (5 each) have they won more consecutively in the competition.

Having been unbeaten in all seven of their Premier League away games against London sides last season (W4 D3), Newcastle are winless in all four so far this term (D1 L3). They’ve lost their last three in a row, last losing more consecutively in the capital between January-April 2019 (4).

Fulham have won nine of their 15 Premier League home games so far this season (D1 L5), their most in a single top-flight campaign since 2011-12 (10). They’ve scored 3+ goals in seven of these victories, last scoring 3+ in more different top-flight home games in 1966-67 (9).

Newcastle are still yet to play out a goalless draw in the Premier League this season and are averaging exactly 14 shots per game (420 shots in 30 games). They averaged 15 shots per game last season, with this the first time they’ve had 14+ shots per game in consecutive seasons since 2012-13 (14) and 2013-14 (15.2).

Fulham manager Marco Silva won his first Premier League match against Newcastle United in November 2017 with Watford but has won none of five since then (D1 L4), losing the last four in a row. In Premier League history, the only two managers to lose five in a row against the Magpies are Ron Atkinson (1993-96) and Martin Jol (2006-11).

Rodrigo Muniz has scored in his last four Premier League home games, netting six goals in total in this run. It’s the longest scoring streak a Fulham player has had at home in the competition’s history.

Their average of 1.9 goals conceded per game is their joint-worst ratio on home soil in a season as a league club, along with 1962-63 (42 conceded in 22 games, 1.9 per game).

Since losing six out of seven away Premier League matches between May and November last year, Bournemouth have lost just two of their last nine on the road (W5 D2). They’ve netted 23 away goals this season, only scoring more in one Premier League campaign (26 in 2018-19).

There have been 48 goals scored in 15 Premier League matches played at Kenilworth Road this season (22 for Luton, 26 for their opponents). There’s only been five stadiums that have seen 50+ goals scored in 16 or fewer games, most recently Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road in 2010-11 (14 matches).

Since returning to the Premier League last season, Bournemouth haven’t lost a single match against a newly promoted club, winning two and drawing two as a promoted club themselves last season and winning four out of five games this season (D1) and have scored at least two goals in each of their last six (15 in total).

In Dominic Solanke’s first 35 away Premier League appearances, he failed to score and assisted just one goal.
