Insurance held by Dicha, Fasil beat Mekelakeya

Ethiopian Insurance 's title charge suffered a little hiccup Sunday when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Wolaitta Dicha and they missed the chance to close the gap on Bahir Dar in second place.
Fasil City beat Mekelakeya 1-0 in Sunday's other fixture, a win that takes them up to the table to 6th, one place above Ethiopia Coffee.
Fasil scored an early goal via a penalty converted by stalwart Shemekit Gugsa in the 16th minute and held on to the lead until the end.

Ethiopian Insurance were shocked by Wolaitta Dicha who scored first through Kalkidan Zelalem on 21 minutes.
Insurance equalised with 2 minutes to the end of the first half when Biruk Mulugeta scored the first of his brace in the 43rd minute to take the game to break tied at 1-1.
Mulugeta completed his brace in the 51st minute to record back-to-back braces in the League, following his two goals for Insurance in their 7-1 defeat of Legetafo Legedadi last week.
It looked like another rocking day in the office for Insurance, but Wolaitta Dicha's resistance paid off when they were rewarded with an equaliser scored by
Yonatan Elias 2-2.
The result leaves Ethiopian Insurance 3rd on 37 points, 2 points behind Bahir Dar City in second with 39 points and 5 behind League leaders, St George who are on 41 points.
