Real Valladolid v Atlético de Madrid

Atlético de Madrid could claim their 11th LaLiga title, and their second under Diego Pablo Simeone (after 2013/14). The Argentine could become the third coach to win two titles in the competition for the club, after Ricardo Zamora (1939/40 and 1940/41) and Helenio Herrera (1949/50 and 1950/51).

Real Valladolid have lost 10 of their last 11 games against Atlético de Madrid in LaLiga (D1), failing to score in seven of their last eight league games against the Rojiblancos.

Real Valladolid coach Sergio González has managed more LaLiga games without a win against Diego Simeone in LaLiga (D2 L6) than against any other manager in his managerial career.

Real Madrid v Villarreal

Real Madrid could win their 35th LaLiga title. It would be the first time they have won the league in consecutive seasons since 2006/07 under Fabio Capello and 2007/08 under Bernd Schuster. In fact, Zinédine Zidane could become the first Real Madrid manager to win two league titles in a row since Leo Beenhakker's three (1986/87, 1987/88 and 1988/89).

Real Madrid have only won two of their last seven meetings with Villarreal in LaLiga (D4 L1), with both of those coming in their last two home league games against them (3-2 in May 2019 and 2-1 in July 2020).

Eibar have lost just one of their last four LaLiga matches (W2 D1), but that defeat confirmed their relegation to LaLiga SmartBank. They have played a total of 265 games in LaLiga so far (W77 D71 L117), winning 29% of them and scoring 297 goals.

Barcelona have suffered seven defeats in 37 LaLiga games this season (W23 D7), their worst such total in a single season in the competition since 2007/08 (W19 D10 L9).

Eibar have recorded just two victories in 18 matches at Ipurua in LaLiga this season (D7 L9), scoring just 12 goals, which could be the second-lowest scoring total at home in a top-flight season in the 21st century (level with Córdoba in 2014/15), only ahead of Racing de Santander (11 in 2011/12).

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has scored 30 goals in LaLiga this season, one more than every Eibar player combined in the league this season (29). In addition, the Argentinean has scored more goals against Eibar than any other player in the top-flight (20 goals in 11 appearances).

Huesca v Valencia

Huesca have not won any of their three matches against Valencia in LaLiga (D1 L2). Their 6-2 loss to them in May 2019, is also their biggest top-flight defeat at El Alcoraz.

In the three previous matches between Huesca and Valencia in LaLiga, both teams have always scored; with Huesca scoring four goals and the Valencian team nine.

Huesca have won their last two matches at El Alcoraz in LaLiga, both 1-0, this is the only time they have recorded consecutive home wins in the top-flight.

Valencia have won two of their last three LaLiga games (L1). That’s just one less win than they had in their previous 13 league games (W3 D4 L6).

Huesca could suffer their second relegation from LaLiga after being relegated in their debut campaign in 2018/19. If this does happen, the club will join Extremadura, Mérida and Lleida as the teams to have played two La Liga seasons and been relegated at the end of both.

Valencia have conceded the most goals from outside the area of any team in LaLiga this season (12), while Huesca are second for such goals conceded (9).

Athletic Club could lose three straight LaLiga games without scoring for the first time since September 2020 under Gaizka Garitano (also 3). If this happens, it would be the first time in Marcelino García Toral's entire career as a coach in the competition.

Elche have the worst goal difference (-23) in La Liga this season. They’ve scored 32 and conceded 55.

Athletic will finish a LaLiga season without recording consecutive wins. This is the third time it’s happened in the club’s history after 1948/49, when they finished in sixth place, and 1962/63, when they were 10th.

Alex Berenguer is Athletic's top scorer in LaLiga this season with eight goals. It may be the first time that no Athletic Club player has reached 10 goals in a LaLiga season since 2006/07 (Aritz Aduriz was top scorer with 9 goals).

Getafe won their last LaLiga game 2-1 against Levante, and could win consecutive league matches for only the second time this season (also won 2 in January 2021). The Blues will also seek to win on the last matchday of a top-flight campaign for the fifth time in their history (2005/06, 2009/10, 2013/14 and 2017/18).

Getafe have scored the first goal of a game in LaLiga the fewest times this season (10). Despite that, they have only lost in one of those matches (W8 D1 L1), 2-5 against Barcelona in April.

Granada have scored the highest percentage of their goals in the last 15 minutes of a game in LaLiga this season (34% - 16/47). Only Real Betis (16pts) have won more points with goals in that period than Granada (15pts).

Sevillla’s Youssef En-Nesyri has scored 18 goals in 37 LaLiga games this season, one more than in his previous two campaigns combined (17 goals in 67 games) - he is the first Sevilla player to score as many as 13 league goals at home in a single season since Kevin Gameiro in 2015/16 (14).

Alavés coach Javi Calleja has not lost in any of his previous three visits to Sevilla in LaLiga (W1 D2), all of them coming while in charge of Villarreal.
