Leroy Sané has been directly involved in 12 goals in eight games for Bayern Munich in the Uefa Champions League this season (six goals, six assists). Since 2003-04 (when this data is available), Sané is one of only two players to have scored more than five goals and made more than five assists in a single campaign, along with Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino in 2017-18 (10 goals, seven assists).
