Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola took the opportunity to rest Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden as the European champions look to book their place in the Champions League quarterfinals against FC Copenhagen on Wednesday.

City lead 3-1 from the first leg in the Danish capital and Guardiola clearly has eyes on Sunday's top-of-the-table Premier League clash against Liverpool.

Foden won man of the match for his two-goal showing in a 3-1 win over Manchester United on Sunday and is one of seven changes to the City team.

Ederson, Ruben Dias, Rodrigo and Erling Haaland are the only four players to retain their place with John Stones, Kyle Walker, Nathan Ake and Bernardo Silva joining De Bruyne and Foden on the bench.

Copenhagen make four changes from the first leg as Jacob Neestrup puts his faith in youngsters Victor Froholdt, William Clem and Orri Oskarsson to shine on the big stage.
