SuperSport United have confirmed the worst kept secret in South African football with the news that midfielder Teboho Mokoena has joined Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

The 24-year-old makes the move for an undisclosed fee, which is believed to be a record for a transfer between two DStv Premiership clubs.
“Teboho has served our club with distinction since joining us in his mid teens,” SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews said. “He has helped us win four major trophies and has consistently delivered on and off the field of play, which is why our Chairman Khulu Sibiya gave his blessing for this move.
