RUGBY: 7s
Cape Town is the centre of the rugby world's attention in December as the Cape Town Stadium gets to host an HSBC SVNS leg. The men are coming off victory in Dubai, while the women acquitted themselves well with narrow losses to both New Zealand and Fiji.

NETBALL: England v SA
One last hurrah for an amazing year of netball as the SA women head to England for a three-test series.

GOLF: Team time
Some of the top players from the PGA and LPGA Tours tee it up as 16 two-person teams (one man, one woman n each) for the Grant Thornton Invitational this month
The formats will be Scramble (Friday), Alternate Shot (Saturday) and Modified Four-Ball (Sunday). The final-day format sees the men and women tee off with their own ball, before playing their partner's ball from there.
