The inaugural LIV Golf season comes to a crescendo with the Team Championship at the Trump National Doral Golf Club in Miami from 28-30 October.

For the majority of the season, the focus was on individual accolades contributing towards the team goal, but this weekend all efforts will be in service of the collective as the teams chase the $16m first prize along with the bragging rights of becoming the first ever LIV Golf team champions.
4 Aces GC, Crushers GC, Fireballs GC, and Stinger GC head to Miami as the top four seeds, which earns them a bye in the quarterfinals. The top three seeds also have the additional benefit of being able to choose their semifinal opponents from the victorious quarterfinal teams.
The iconic Blue Monster course will host a unique finals format where the teams will have to navigate both strokeplay and matchplay matches in order to get their hands on the title. Friday will see the teams ranked 5-12 play against each other in three head-to-head matches, which include two singles matches and one foursomes match (alternate shot).
Saturday follows the same format where the victorious quarterfinal teams take on the top-four seeds, for the four spots in Sunday’s final which will be strokeplay, where each team member’s score counts towards the overall team total and the team with the lowest score will be crowned champion.
LIV’s traditional shotgun start remains in effect this weekend so viewers and spectators alike will be treated to non-stop action throughout the proceedings.
