FIFA has announced a groundbreaking initiative with the LEGO Group ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. This unprecedented collaboration aims to bring even more creativity and fun into the world of football for fans of all ages across the globe.
The announcement comes as excitement reaches fever pitch in the run-up to the biggest, best and most inclusive FIFA World Cup™ in history, with representatives from 42 qualified nations and 22 play-off contenders preparing to gather in Washington DC for the final draw, which kicks off at 12pm (noon) local time on 5 December.
The collaboration between FIFA and the LEGO Group represents a perfect match for football and play enthusiasts alike. The partnership is debuting with the iconic LEGO Editions FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, which is available for pre-order now.
This marks the first time that fans will be able to build a detailed, official replica 1:1 scale model of sport’s most hallowed and recognisable trophy, allowing them to bring home a golden piece of the tournament’s magic.

The LEGO Editions FIFA World Cup Official Trophy set goes on sale in March 2026. This ultimate prize model is constructed from 2 842 LEGO elements, including the highest number of gold-coloured bricks ever used in a single LEGO set.
Adding to its collectability, the set features a printed plaque underneath the base listing all the teams to have lifted the current FIFA World Cup Trophy, introduced in 1974. An exciting hidden scene can also be accessed via a pullable slip in the upper globe section. Inside this concealed area is the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo and an exclusive branded minifigure holding a mini-FIFA World Cup Trophy toy, allowing fans to truly imagine themselves as world champions.
