Jerry Kelly birdied the 72nd hole to capture the ISPS HANDA Senior Open at Gleneagles’ Kings Course by two strokes at 10-under 270, earning his 14th PGA TOUR Champions title and third senior major championship.
Kelly, who became the first American-born winner since 2015, followed his opening 66 with three consecutive rounds of 68, closing with 2-under 68 on Sunday.

Cameron Percy (T2), the 36-hole leader and 54-hole co-leader, closed with even-par 70 to finish two strokes back at 8-under 272.
The 52-year-old remains winless through 52 starts on PGA TOUR Champions.
Matt Gogel (T2) carded 7-under 63, jumping 12 spots after beginning the final round T14 at 1 under, to finish at 8-under 272.
South African Darren Fichardt (T2) closed with 4-under 66 to finish at 8-under 272, while World Golf Hall of Fame member and two-time Open Champion (2002, 2012) Ernie Els (T14) closed with 2-over 72 to finish at 1-under 279, falling short in his bid to become the sixth player to win both The Open and The Senior Open.
