GREAT COVERAGE
From the fairways, viewers will hear first-hand accounts of the action from seasoned golf presenter, OG Molefe, as well as Layla Arrison, Kriya Gangiah, and Kuhle “Kooks” Sonkosi, who will provide comprehensive coverage across all platforms, on DStv and SuperSport’s social media and digital.
Fans can also look forward to two pre-packaged Build-up shows airing on Saturday and Sunday, 30 minutes prior to the live golf, alongside exclusive behind-the-scenes content with players and fans to showcase the unique "Proudly South African" gees.
In addition to the class-leading broadcast offering in store, SuperSport is gearing up to bring a fun-filled weekend of golf. There will also be the reintroduction of the Stinger GC: Greens and Gold documentary on DStv and DStv CatchUp from 14 March, with an omnibus airing on SS Golf (213) on Wednesday, 18 March.
THE PARTY HOLE
Overlooking the 17th green, LIV Golf’s party hole, "The Lion's Den", will be broadcast live and free to stream on YouTube and SuperSport Play (DStv Stream channel 243).
"The Lion's Den" is the designated "party hole" for the LIV Golf South Africa 2026 tournament, located at the 17th hole at Steyn City in Johannesburg. It’s the high-energy, loud spectator zone featuring music, entertainment, and hospitality, including player walk-ons and prime views of the action. It is similar to LIV Golf Adelaide’s “Watering Hole”, which was introduced to much fan delight.
COMPETITIVE FIELD
SuperSport viewers will follow elite competitors including Bryson DeChambeau, Jon Rahm, Tyrrell Hatton, Dustin Johnson and Anthony Kim, alongside legends of the game such as Phil Mickelson and Sergio García.
The field also showcases an emerging generation of global talent, including Joaquin Niemann, Tom McKibbin, David Puig, Josele Ballester and Caleb Surratt. South African audiences will also enjoy extensive coverage of hometown Southern Guards GC stars Louis Oosthuizen, Charl Schwartzel, Branden Grace and Dean Burmester.
LIV Golf is bringing a galaxy of entertainment stars such as Black Coffee, Calvin Harris, and GoldFish to perform throughout the weekend, starting on Thursday with the SaxbyTwins and lordkez.
SuperSport will proudly bring fans the golfing and entertainment action live to your screens on DStv.
