Augusta National hosts the 90th Masters tournament, bringing with it all the tradition, pressure and drama that define golf’s most iconic major.
Rory McIlroy arrives as the defending champion after completing the elusive career grand slam in 2025, while challengers like Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Xander Schauffele and others look to wrestle away the Green Jacket.

NOTEBOOK:
MCILROY’S TITLE DEFENCE
Returning as Masters champion for the first time, McIlroy seeks consecutive wins — a feat rarely achieved at Augusta.

Only Jack Nicklaus (1965-66), Nick Faldo (1989-90) and Tiger Woods (2001-02) have managed this before, so Rory could join a very exclusive club.
THE LIV VERSUS PGA NARRATIVE
With players like Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau in form on the LIV Tour, it will be interesting to see if this can carry over into the more formal nature of a major at Augusta.
