Vekic to face Zheng Qinwen for Olympic tennis gold

Donna Vekic of Croatia will take on China's Zheng Qinwen for Paris Olympics women's tennis gold after easing through her semifinal on Thursday.

Vekic needed just over an hour to defeat Anna Karolina Schmiedlova 6-4, 6-0 and will take on Zheng in the final on Saturday after the Chinese star stunned world No 1 Iga Swiatek.
