The WBC and WBA No 1 rated super middleweight, Christian Mbilli (26-0; 22), won on a sixth-round technical knockout over Rohan Murdock (27-3; 19) on Saturday night at the Videotron Centre in Quebec City, Quebec Canada.
It was all action from the opening bell with Mbilli gradually breaking down the tough Murdock. In the fifth round Murdock was badly punished but did not come out at the bell for the sixth round when his corner pulled him out of the fight.
In a light heavyweight bout, Imam Khataev (6-0; 6) won on a second-round stoppage against Michal Ludwiczak (17-13-1; 9). Time was 2:17.

Malik Titus wins over eight rounds
Heavyweight Malik “The Ring King” Titus (10-1; 9) beat Joey “The Tank” Dawejko (27-11-4; 15) on an eight-round unanimous points decision on Saturday night at the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Dawejko pushed forward from the opening bell to win with scores of 78-74, 78-74, 79-73.
NABF bantamweight champion Dylan Price (17-0; 11) won on an eighth-round stoppage over Gilberto Mendoza (20-18-4; 10).
WBA orders a fight between Kazuto Ioaka and John Ramirez
The WBA Championship Committee has ordered a fight between WBA junior bantamweight champion Kazuto Ioka and the No 1 rated John “Scrappy” Ramirez. Agreement must be reached by February 12, otherwise the WBA could call for purse bids with a split of 75 per cent for Ioka and 25 per cent for Ramirez.
The WBA has granted a special permit requested by Arsen Goulamirian to meet Gilberto “Zurdo” Ramirez for the super cruiserweight title. The fight is to be held on March 16. The winner of the fight must meet the No 1-rated Yunier Dorticos within a period of no more than 120 days after the victory.
Moussa Gholam stops Lunga Sitemela in four
Junior lightweight Moussa Gholam (21-1; 12) won on a fourth-round knockout over Lunga Sitemela (15-2; 9) on Saturday night at the Yas Links Golf Resort in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Gholam scored with a hook to the liver to end it. Time was 1:23.
Cruiserweight southpaw Mohammed Bekdash (27-0; 23) scored an eight-round unanimous points decision against Shaban Hamadi Jongo (11-4-2; 10). Scores were 78-74, 77-75, 77-75.
Lightweight Bader “The Master” Samreen (10-0; 8) won on a majority ten-round points decision over Jeff Ofori 13-5-2; 4. The scores were 95-95, 96-94, 96-94.
Rie Matsuda wins WBO/WBA woman’s atomweight titles
In what was considered an upset, the southpaw Rie Matsuda (7-1-1; 1) beat the WBA/WBO woman’s Atomweight champion Yoko Kuroki (22-8-2; 9) on a ten-round split decision on Friday in Tokyo, Japan.
The scores were 96-94, 97-94 for Matsuda and 96-94 for Kuroki.
Mizuki Hiruta retains WBO female junior bantamweight title
WBO female junior bantam champion, southpaw Mizuki Hiruta (6-0; 2) stopped Ji-Hyun Park 26-4, 8 at 1:45 into the sixth round.
Sumira Yamanaka wins IBF atomweight title
Southpaw Sumire Yamanaka (8-0; 3) claimed the IBF female atomweight title with a unanimous ten-round points decision over defending champion Mika Iwakawa (12-7-1; 4). The scores were 97-93, 96-94, 99-91.
Nuki and Nakano win female WBO AP belts
Japan’s Terumi Nuki (14-5; 10) won the female WBO Asia Pacific bantamweight title on a sixth-round stoppage against India’s Monica Singh (4-1).
Mayumi Nakano (6-1; 3) beat defending WBO AP 105 pound champion Riyuna Yoshikawa (6-2-1; 1) on a majority points decision over eight rounds.
