Asithandile Ntoyanto, Yonela Ngxingolo, Unam Tose and Unathi Mali have all returned to the starting xv while Sinelitha Noxeke has shaken off her niggle to make the matchday 23 as the Bulls Daisies prepare to host the DHL Western Province in round 13 of the 2024 SA Rugby Women’s Premier Division.
The two sides will meet on Friday 19 July with kick-off set for 2:30pm at Loftus Versfeld Stadium. Tickets start from R 50 and are available only from Ticketpro
Head coach Hayden Groepes has made minimal changes to the matchday 23, bringing back Sinelitha Noxeke who was sidelined by a niggle when the side travelled to Wellington a week ago. Noxeke forms part of the impact squad.
Elsewhere Groepes has rotated his front row, starting Asithandile Ntoyanto, Xolelwa Diliza and Yonela Ngxingolo with Vainah Ubisi and Anathi Qolo retained at lock. Captain, Lusanda Dumke and Faith Tshauke reinforce the forward pack at outside and blindside flank respectively. Sophy Mashapa slots in at eight.
Unam Tose starts at scrumhalf, pairing up with flyhalf Naima Hlatshwayo at halfback.
At the back, Chumisa Qawe and Jakkie Cilliers combine at centre while Unathi Mali slots in at left wing with the in-form and dominant Patience Mokone getting a run on the right. Zintle Nonkasana completes the back three at fullback.
The Daisies will have refreshed strength in an impact squad assembly comprising Micke Günter, Sanelisiwe Charlie, Lebogang Ralebona, Ziyanda Ngohlekana, Sinelitha Noxeke, Rumandi Potgieter, Sesihle Maguga and Mahlatse Nkhumishe.
