In 2021-22 in their first league meeting on the 19th of September 2021 Sundowns won 3-0 at home at home, Mosa Lebusa scored in the 57th minute, Shalulile scored once again in the 58th minute and Thabiso Kutumela in the 84th minute.

TS Galaxy finally recorded a league victory over Mamelodi Sundowns in the 2022-23 season, the first clash on 10th August 2022, with Sundowns at home in a 1-0 win. Lifa Hlongwane scoring the games only goal in the 34th minute.

Sundowns won the second league meeting between the teams in the 2022-23 season 2-1 away from home on the 24th of January 2023, Rushine De Reuck in the 11th minute and Shalulile in the 64th minute scoring for Sundowns. Djakaridja Traore scored for TS Galaxy five minutes into second half stoppage time.

The most recent league meetings came last season, the first meeting on the 29th April 2024, with Sundowns at home who were 3-0 winners, Shalulile scored a brace in the 26th and 35th minutes and Thembinkosi Lorch Sundowns in the 64th minute.
