Third T20 between Proteas and White Ferns abandoned due to rain

Rain continues to wreak havoc with the New Zealand women’s tour of South Africa with the third T20 International at Buffalo Park in East London abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The series’ first match (6 October) was also abandoned while Sunday’s second match, both in East London, was called off after New Zealand were restricted to 111 for 9 in their 20 overs. Chloe Tryon took a career-best 4-15.

The fourth match is on Saturday in Benoni and the last match in the series is on Sunday at the same venue.
