Orlando Pirates have confirmed four fixtures for their pre-season tour of Spain as they prepare for the start of the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League campaign.
The Buccaneers will head to Europe for the second pre-season in a row as they build towards trying to topple Mamelodi Sundowns in the Betway Premiership and another campaign in the CAF Champions League.
The club are expected to announce their new head coach in the coming days after the much-admired Jose Riveiro left for Al Ahly in May.
Pirates’ opener on their Spanish tour is against English third-tier side Bolton Wanderers on 11 July.
They will take on Cypriot side Pafos FC two days later, before a clash with Spanish outfit Las Palmas from the Canary Islands on 17 July. They play in the second-tier.
They will also take on Spanish second-tier side Granada in a final fixture on 19 July.
