Bonfim calls out Covington following UFC Fight Night win

Gabriel Bonfim extended his winning streak in the UFC this weekend following a statement making win over Randy Brown in the main event at UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas on Sunday morning.
It took little over six minutes for Bonfim to get over Brown inside the Octagon and he eventually recorded a second-round victory in his latest Welterweight bout.
Bonfim made it clear that Brown’s lead leg was his target during the early stages of the fight and landed a couple of heavy leg kicks in the process.

While Brown was aware of Bonfim’s tactics, the Brazilian was setting up his finisher in the second-round. Bonfim landed 35 strikes in the fight, with 23 going to Brown’s leg, which ultimately led to a crucial opening early in the second-round
Bonfim saw off Brown with a standing knee at 1:40 in the second-round, a strike that left Brown badly hurt.
The 28-year-old has now extended his winning streak to five victories and put UFC veteran Colby Covington in the firing line during his post-fight interview.
"Colby, stop running," Bonfim said.
"Give me a chance so I can walk you out of the ring. For sure, I'm going to retire [you]."
