As one of the most exciting Mixed Martial Arts prospects in the world currently, Bantamweight star Raul Rosas Jr will look to make it six wins on the trot when he takes on Raoni Barcelos in another exciting installment of UFC Fight Night at the Meta Apex Arena on Sunday morning.

In what will be the first headline event of his career, the 21-year-old Rosas (12-1-0) remains on a quest to become the youngest champion in UFC history, a feat currently held by former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight star Jon Jones.
Nicknamed the ‘Problem Child’, Rosas is currently on a five-fight winning streak with his latest being a unanimous decision victory over Rob Font at UFC326 in March.
Prior to his winning run, Rosas suffered his first loss in the promotion in April 2023 as Christian Rodriguez won the judges over in a unanimous decision win at UFC287.
Barcelos (22-5-0), an experienced fighter from Brazil, is likewise heading into his next bout on a five-fight win streak after defeating Montel Jackson via split decision at UFC Fight Night: Sterling v Zalal in April.
The 39-year-old faced stiff competition throughout his UFC career after meeting with names such as Cody Garbrandt and Umar Nurmagomedov.
While both fighters are bidding for a future title shot, Rosas will be hoping to crack the top 10 Bantamweight rankings while Barcelos currently sits in eighth position.
In another exciting feature, the unbeaten Melissa Amaya will take on Valesca Machada in the Women’s strawweight class, while the co-main event will see Rudolpho Viera take on Robert Bryczek in the Middleweight division.
