All our Gearheads will be treated to a jampacked weekend of motorsport with the Australian F1 Grand Prix getting the day's schedule started, followed by the action at the season-opening Aragon SBK, and the MotoGP of the Americas closing out the daily programme.
AUSTRALIAN F1 GRAND PRIX
For the first time since the pandemic hit, Formula 1 will be returning to Albert Park, in Melbourne. Fans will have to set their alarms pretty early with the practice sessions on Friday and Saturday beginning as early as 5am (SA, CAT, GMT+2).
To celebrate their return to the F1 calendar, the organisers Down Under have elected to have no less than four DRS zones which can only add to the duels between Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen, which we have become accustomed to seeing in 2022.
Mercedes will be hoping an upgraded package will see them being able to compete at the front instead of being easily passed by the Haas cars.
It will be even more of a special occasion for Daniel Ricciardo who will be looking for some home comforts to ease the struggles that McLaren have endured.
If the third race of the season is anything like the first two, F1 fans are set for another blockbuster weekend.

ARAGON SBK
Jonathan Rea will be smarting from losing the title for the first time in seven seasons and will be looking to get off to the best possible start as the 2022 Superbikes season gets underway.
However, defending champion Toprak Razgatlioglu will be in no mood to make things easier for Rea as he looks to get his title defence off to a great start.
The form of the only other race winners from 2021, Scott Redding and Michael Ruben Rinaldi, will be of great interest, especially when considering that Redding jumped ship from Ducati to BMW, leaving Rinaldi to fly the flag for the Italians alongside Alvaro Bautista.
With it being only the first race of a long season, it will not be the end of the road for those who fail to perform but the season will be set up nicely for those who do seize the opportunity.

MOTOGP OF THE AMERICAS
Three races into the 2022 MotoGP season and it is already shaping up to be one of the greatest.
So far, we have had three different race winners from three different manufacturers and there have been nine different riders on the podium, so how this week will turn out is anyone’s guess.
Alex Espargaro leads the world championship standings, after picking up Aprilia’s first race win since rejoining the sport, ahead of South Africa’s golden boy Brad Binder.
Marc Marquez returns to action this week, after sitting out the Argentina MotoGP due to a concussion from a spectacular crash, at a track where he has enjoyed unparalleled success. Of the eight Grand Prix held at the Circuit of the Americas, Marquez has stood on the top step of the podium on all but one occasion.
Whether or not Marquez can continue his dominance or if we have three new riders on the podium, we are in for yet another enthralling MotoGP race.
