Alvaro Bautista continued his dominant form in the World Superbike Championship, securing his 12th victory in 13 races this season.
Racing in front of Ducati's home fans in Misano, Bautista showcased his skills once again.
Before the race began, Bradley Ray encountered a problem on the grid, causing a slight delay with yellow flags waved. Eventually, the race started with a reduced distance of 20 laps instead of 21.
Toprak Razgatlioglu aimed to challenge Bautista at the start but lost second place to Rinaldi. However, his attempt to regain the position around turn four resulted in contact with Rinaldi, allowing the Italian to regain second.
The factory Ducatis pulled away from Razgatlioglu, while Axel Bassani pressured Jonathan Rea for fifth place. Bassani successfully overtook Rea at Curvone after several failed attempts.
Bautista extended his lead over Rinaldi on lap four, gaining a significant advantage. Meanwhile, Rinaldi maintained a comfortable gap ahead of Razgatlioglu.
