WSBK star Alvaro Bautista continued his winning ways in Sunday's Superpole Race on Phillip Island, leading a Ducati 1-2 finish.
Rival Toprak Razgatlioglu did manage to make a move stick in the opening lap to grab the lead, but Bautista responded the very next time around.
It was plain sailing for the Spaniard from there, while teammate Micahel Ruben Rinaldi recovered from a poor race 1 to claim second place ahead of Razgatlioglu.
Six-time world champion Jonathan Rea endured a difficult race, only managing to cross the line in seventh, while WSBK rookies Remy Gardner and Dominqiue Aegerter after the pair collided at turn 4.
