Mohamed Salah lifted his Premier League tally to 21 goals from 23 matches this season by scoring twice for leaders Liverpool in a 2-0 win away to Bournemouth at the weekend.
The 32-year-old Egypt captain has claimed 178 goals in the Premier League, placing him sixth in the all-time scoring chart.
It was a profitable weekend for African stars in the English top flight with eight scoring, including Beto from Guinea-Bissau, who netted twice for Everton in a 4-0 rout of Leicester City.

MOHAMED SALAH (Liverpool)
His penalty put Liverpool on course for victory as the leaders maintained their six-point advantage over second-placed Arsenal, with a match in hand. They took the lead in the first half when Salah netted with a penalty awarded after Cody Gakpo appeared to trip over his own feet rather than go down from Lewis Cook's challenge. Salah struck again late in the second half.
PAPE SARR (Tottenham)
The Senegal midfielder helped ease the pressure on boss Ange Postecoglou with a goal in a 2-0 win at Brentford. Sarr netted in the 87th minute with a tap-in from Son Heung-min's pass to wrap up Tottenham's first victory in eight league games.
BETO (Everton)
Beto scored twice in Everton's hammering of relegation rivals Leicester at Goodison Park. Beto struck in the sixth minute with a cool finish from James Tarkowski's pass and netted again in first half stoppage-time to put Everton three goals up.
SPAIN
PAPE GUEYE (Villarreal)
The Senegalese midfielder netted Villarreal's second in a 5-1 LaLiga rout of Real Valladolid with a powerful low strike into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. It was the former Marseille man's first goal of the league campaign on his 20th appearance for the Yellow Submarine.
PATHE CISS (Rayo Vallecano)
Rayo's Senegalese midfielder was in the right place at the right time to snatch his team a 1-0 victory at Leganes. Ciss had a header saved by Marko Dmitrovic, but kept his cool to prod home the rebound from close range to clinch a derby win with his second goal of the season.
GERMANY
VICTOR BONIFACE (Bayer Leverkusen)
Playing just days after a move to Saudi Arabia fell through, Boniface showed no signs of rust in a 3-1 Bundesliga win over Hoffenheim. With just 15 minutes gone, the Nigerian collected an inch-perfect Alex Grimaldo pass and fired beyond Hoffenheim goalkeeper Luca Philipp and into the net.
SERHOU GUIRASSY (Borussia Dortmund)
Guinea striker Guirassy scored again for Borussia Dortmund, this time showing his poacher instincts to get the opener at Heidenheim in a 2-1 victory. Guirassy has now scored in four straight games for Dortmund.
FRANCE
MOSTAFA MOHAMED (Nantes)
The Egypt forward scored for the second weekend in a row by netting the winner with 20 minutes remaining in Nantes' 2-1 victory at Reims. Mohamed had previously not scored in Ligue 1 since August.
