The Vodacom Bulls have rested their hard-working captain Ruan Nortje with Marcell Coetzee back to lead the side in their Currie Cup game against the Novavit Griffons on Friday afternoon.
The Bulls have made several changes to the side and given some players a rest as they look to head into the final league fortnight and get as many points as they can.
Another rested is Johan Grobbelaar with Jan-Hendrik Wessels coming back into the starting line-up alongside Gerhard Steenekamp and new tighthead Francois Kloppers. Kloppers swops with Mornay Smit, who is on the bench.
Janko Swanepoel replaces Nortje for the game and partners with Ruan Vermaak while Coetzee has his regular loose trio of Cyle Brink and Nizaam Carr to help him hunt around the par.
Chris Smith moves back to flyhalf with Johan Goosen going to fullback. That switch means David Kriel will move to the left wing, leaving Cornal Hendricks on the right. Stedman Gans will partner with Chris Barend Smit while Harold Vorster gets a hard-earned rest.
On the bench Wandisile Simelane is a notable inclusion, having recovered from his hamstring niggle to take his place.
