Toyota Cheetahs stalwart Jeandre Rudolph will run out for his 50th game for the Toyota Cheetahs when they face the Hollywoodbets Sharks in their EPCR Challenge Cup game in Bloemfontein on Sunday.

Rudolph’s milestone will come as the Cheetahs look to build on their big win over Zebre Parma in round one and get a chance to measure themselves against a tough Sharks outfit.

Captain Victor Sekekete said it was a benchmark game for the side to determine just how much they had progressed as a squad against a side full of Springboks.

“This is a true benchmark for us. It is a game where we can look at and see how we measure. It’s been a while since we had a good-fought battle. For us forwards, we always look forward to a battle and we know this weekend the Springbok players are going to get their boost. It’s going to be a good encounter upfront.” Sekekete said.

TOYOTA CHEETAHS: Tapiwa Mafura, Daniel Kasende, Evardi Boshoff, Reinhardt Fortuin, Cohen Jasper; George Lourens, Ruan Pienaar; Jeandre Rudolph, Friedle Olivier, Gideon van der Merwe, Victor Sekekete (captain), Rynier Bernardo, Hencus van Wyk, Marnus van der Merwe, Cameron Dawson.

Replacements: Louis van der Westhuizen, Alulutho Tshakweni, Laurance Victor, Carl Wegner, Daniel Maartens, Sibabalo Qoma, Rewan Kruger, Ali Mgijima.
