It is all systems go for the sold-out opening test match of the 2023 Castle Lager Rugby Championship in Pretoria on Saturday and fans have been warned not to purchase tickets from third-party channels.
"We absolutely cannot wait to welcome the 50 000 rugby fans to our fortress, for what will be a fun-filled family day of rugby” comments BBCo Operations Manager, Hugo Kemp, on the eve of the South Africa and Australia match.
“We would like to once again remind fans across the province, the country, that the match is sold out and the only accredited ticket retailer is TicketPro and no one else. We strongly advise against the purchase of tickets from third-party channels that claim to be accredited. These tickets will lead to disappointment and a loss of money.”“We understand that there is quite a great deal of the fear of missing out from a lot of our rugby fans but we urge them to avoid buying tickets from these platforms with the hopes of bypassing our platforms, we have personnel on standby to refer these fraudulent tickets to authorities.”
