SuperSport Schools to showcase U18 International Rugby Series live
Rugby fans in South Africa and Europe will have an opportunity to watch the next generation of stars live during the U18 International series between South Africa, England and France to be broadcast on the SuperSport Schools app from Friday.
The matches will be available globally to view live or on demand on the free app, providing unrivalled access to prime youth rugby content.
SuperSport Schools General Manager, Gerhard Steyn said: "All rugby test matches between South Africa, France and England are special and we are delighted to be producing and streaming the U18 International series matches live and on demand on our SuperSport Schools app.”
South Africa will feature two teams in the six-match series, with all matches taking place at Paarl Gymnasium from 19 – 27 August.
The series provides the next opportunity for players to showcase their skills ahead of the U20 Rugby World Championships taking place next year, with many of the players coming through the recently concluded U18 Craven Week, which is also available to view on the app.
"It is particularly exciting for us to be streaming these matches in the week that our SuperSport Schools Platform has reached a unique milestone of 200 000 subscribers," Steyn concluded.
