Orlando Pirates defeated Kaizer Chiefs 5-4 on penalties after a goalless 90 minutes to secure a place in the final of the Carling Black Label Cup on Saturday.
Pirates will face Mamelodi Sundowns in the final while AmaZulu and Kaizer Chiefs will fight it out for third and fourth place via a standalone penalty shootout.
This is the first time Pirates have won the dreaded shootout against their archrivals in six Carling Cup meetings that have gone to penalties.
